Glenn Lozuke

Glenn moved to North Carolina from New Jersey in 1995 with an eye on a job at the venerable Magnolia Grill. After passing a Ben Barker cooking test Glenn was offered a job as a line cook.

A graduate of the Academy of Culinary Arts in his home state, Glenn worked alongside Ben for 13 years, graduating to sous chef and then chef de cuisine and seizing incredible opportunities like traveling to Hawaii and cooking at the James Beard House. After his time at Magnolia Grill, Glenn worked for Amy Tornquist at Sage & Swift Gourmet Catering as well as Watts Grocery. For the past six years, he’s worked at Weaver Street Market, where he is now the executive chef. A resident of Durham, Glenn is married to his high school sweetheart, Virginia, and they have two children – Ava and Ethan.
